RICHARD HANDY is an internationally respected academic, editor, author of historical spy thrillers, historical fiction, and non fiction. His spy thriller series, set in the 1930s and 1940s, involves the escapades of Danny Nash of the British Secret Intelligence Service. His current work in progress is an A to Z of poisons for crime writers. The next Danny Nash spy thriller will be published in 2026. He is a member of The Society of Authors and Exeter Writers. JAYNE CHARD won the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Buzz Goodbody Director Award before moving into television, directing several dramas. Now a multi-award-winning film and TV drama producer, her credits include the BBC flagship brand, Silent Witness. More Than Murder, published in 2025, marked her debut novel and launched her “edgy cosy crime series” – where sharp wit meets suspicious deaths.
TERRY GREEN’s voice is famous for being that of “Cashier Number Three, Please!” After an exciting and varied career, last year he published his first crime thriller, Redline, set in the glamorous world of sports cars. In May this year, Terry launched his second book, Dangerous Art, which continues the nail-biting adventures of his hero Jake Elderfield, a management accountant turned corporate fire-fighter, set in the high stakes world of fine art. Terry is a member of the Crime Writers’ Association.
From the corner of a café in Devon, former archaeologist and historian, JENNY KANE, is currently having a wonderful time writing a brand new, cosy crime, series: The Fish and Chip Shop Detectives, for Hodder & Stoughton. She has been writing professionally for the past 20 years with over 40 novels published to date. Jenny also writes historical crime as Jennifer Ash, and 20 plus audio scripts and novellas for ITV’s popular 1980’s television show, Robin of Sherwood.
