Exchanging wedding vows is a special moment for all couples and such a historic event deserves to take place in a historic building.
Welcome to Looe’s Guildhall
The impressive and historic Grade II listed Guildhall was built in 1877 – as can be seen on the weathervane that proudly stands at the top of the clocktower. The Guildhall is licensed to perform civil marriages and is in the centre of the town but is near to car parks and a short walk from the beach, which is also owned by East Looe Town Trust.
Your Wedding Service
The wedding service take place in the first floor Guildhall Chamber with a high wooden ceiling, large oil paintings and, of course, magnificent stained glass windows. The Chamber gives a sense of occasion and we are proud to have hosted large weddings with a capacity to seat 55 guests and also small weddings of just the couple and witnesses – and everything in between!
We pride ourselves on working closely with you so that your wedding service is exactly what you dreamed of.
East Looe Town Trust are delighted to be working with Ceremonies by Amanda as their new Wedding Coordinator – who will look after you from your first viewing of our magnificent Guildhall, through to the ceremony itself.
