With three different licensed areas to get married at The Gate we can cater for intimate weddings to those wanting a bigger celebration of up to 150 guests. The venue will be exclusively yours and we want you to feel completely relaxed and truly enjoy this special time with your family and friends.
Hotel Accommodation
We can sleep 24 at the hotel and there is plenty of additional accommodation just a stones throw away. Your guests can arrive, unwind and relax to enjoy your special day – the only thing to worry about are what shapes they will be throwing on the dance floor!
Beautiful Gardens
In our gardens with fair reaching views across the Cornish Countryside, our stretch tent can accommodate 120 guests for al fresco dining or an outside evening reception. There is also our newly renovated reception hall which can seat up to 150 for a sit down meal and many more for an evening of dancing.

- Maximum capacity of 200 for the evening reception

*Maximum venue capacity is 150 seated guests, for numbers over 80 there is a charge of £6 per head to cover the cost of hiring additional tables, chairs & linen as well as additional staff costs.
**Time extension after 11pm is charged at £250 per hour, up to a maximum of 2am and must be agreed and paid for in advance of your event.
