An Historic Cornish Estate
Set in the heart of a private and historic Cornish estate, Boconnoc House is the perfect location for your wedding. With accommodation for 54 guests across Boconnoc House and the cottages, multiple settings for civil and humanist ceremonies as well as its own 800-year-old Church – Boconnoc is a blank canvas for you to create your own unique wedding without having to leave the estate.
Civil Ceremonies & Church Weddings
Civil ceremony locations include the 18th Century Stable Yard inspired by Sir John Soane, the Dorothy Garden with its array of magnolia trees or the unique Georgian Bath House. The options for humanist ceremonies are only limited by your imagination – from the lawn under the crab apple tree – to the gardens, where you can say your “I dos” amongst the flowers, you couldn’t hope for a more beautiful outdoor ceremony.
Boconnoc Church is a spectacular setting for traditional ceremonies with soaring stained-glass windows, a vaulted ceiling and space for even the largest of wedding parties although equally cosy for a smaller wedding.
Lawns, Drawing Room & Marquee
The lawn is perfect for reception drinks. Get champagne on ice and let your guests absorb the spectacular views whilst nibbling on canapés in the warm sun. Alternatively, the elegant and spacious Drawing Room provides a perfectly sophisticated space to clink glasses.
With windows on three sides, light pours into the Garden Room for your wedding breakfast. This space opens on to a wisteria filled terrace which can be covered with an extension marquee.
Make your wedding day truly your own.
