One of the larger events taking place is in East Looe, on the East Looe Town Trust’s ‘Wooldown’ a beautiful piece of open land which overlooks Looe Bay & Island.

Throughout the Jubilee period, local artists in Polperro will have their depiction of The Queen displayed around the village in various galleries… under the banner of the ‘Queenie’ community exhibition – walk around the village and see if you can spot some of these original artworks and also window displays.
In addition, Year 7 students from Looe Community Academy have busy creating 70 images celebrating the ‘best of Britain’ which will also be displayed around the Village.
