Welcome to The Hideaway, a comfortable home-from-home, tucked away on the hillside in beautiful Talland Bay, in the heart of Cornwall’s ‘forgotten corner’. It really is the ideal bolthole where you can hide away from reality amid the beauty of coastal south-east Cornwall.
Perfect Location
The Hideaway’s generous completely private decked area has lovely views over the 13th century church and out to sea, and also across the valley towards Polperro.
A short downhill stroll takes you to the two rocky beaches in the bay, with their popular seasonal cafes. The south-west coastal path is very close by, with Polperro and Looe within walking distance for keen ramblers.
Spacious & Well Equipped
Nestled under our family home, The Hideaway is a spacious, well-equipped, welcoming one-bedroom apartment, with about 12 steps down from the parking area to its own front door, giving you privacy and seclusion. We take care of the housekeeping ourselves, so this is no soulless holiday let, but a lovingly tended space where you can kick back, relax and make precious memories.
The apartment has a generous entrance hall with plenty of space for boots/coats/etc, a bright double-aspect bedroom with a king-size bed, a shower room, and a roomy open-plan kitchen/dining/living room area.
If you have a very little person who’ll fit in a travel cot, they’re welcome too, with a high chair and travel cot provided.
Your well-behaved furry friends are also welcome to hide away with you: one medium-sized dog or two smaller dogs, subject to a £30 pet supplement per stay.
