A Magnificent & Unique Setting
The treehouse is nestled on the edge of Down’s Wood, a five-acres woodland within the private Morval estate, just a 10 min drive to Looe.
The treehouse itself has been integrated around a 200 year old cooper beech tree and uses local ash & oak as the structure.
So that you can stay year-round; in addition to super efficient insulation, a beautiful wood burner, crafted across the Tamar in Devon gives warmth throughout the interior. All logs are provided free of charge and are sourced from the owners woods, stacked lovingly in a custom built metal surround.
Beautiful Interiors
The interior design embodies the owners love for all things, well, Cornish. The passion for Cornwall and regional crafts and skills shine through the entire building, with impressive non-conforming construction techniques, fittings and furnishings. Atlantic Blankets adorn a lovingly hand crafted oak bed.
Crisp white linens contrast beautifully against the burnt larch cladding and the kitchen features a magnificent bespoke macrocarpa worktop.
The treehouse ensuite has a beautifully crafted copper bath with wonderful woodland views, together with a toilet and a hand-carved beech basin. Added cosiness is provided by the heated towel rail.
Fantastic Facilities
There are all the essentials for your stay; Nespresso coffee machine, free wifi from a 4G connection, projector screen with Netflix, airplay connected speakers in every room and welcome hamper together with fluffy dressing gowns.
