The house is just a 30 second walk to the South West coastal footpath and 2 minutes from the nearest beach. Pubs & restaurants are within a 2 minute walk.
Our Property
Harbour House is a Victorian semi-detached house with accommodation set over over 3 floors, retaining its original features.
The ground floor features a living room with fire, seaviews, a 4 seater sofa, a 3 seater sofa, and a single armchair. There are various scatter cushions and a window seat to accommodate more guests. The original Victorian fireplace now features a living flame gas fire, with a wall mounted 43″ Samsung Art Smart TV.
The ground floor also has the open plan kitchen/diner with Belfast sink, Aga range cooker, fridge, dishwasher, 8 person dining table and rear stable door to a courtyard for al-fresco dining and BBQ, and (steep) steps to the top terrace and gate to the pedestrian Hannafore Lane. The front patio overlooks the harbour, beach and sea, and has plenty of garden furniture to accommodate guests.
At the rear of the house is the original outhouse with additional fridge/freezer, a washer dryer, a Belfast sink to wash muddy pooches, and plenty of hanging space for Wellington boots and Wetsuits.
Our Accommodation
The first floor accommodates a Bathroom with heated travertine tiled floors, Bedroom 1 (King) with sea views, Bedroom 2 (Double), and Peloton bike studio.
The 2nd floor is home to Bedroom 3, the Master Bedroom (King) with walk-in wardrobe, and double doors leading to a juliette balcony with sea views, Bedroom 4 (Zip lock twin). and a shower room with heated travertine tiled floors.
All bedrooms and the living room have original polished wooden floors. Heating is provided by a brand new Vaillant eco boiler (December 2021) with thermostat control in the hallway.
The house is perched above the Looe River with what are probably the best views in Looe. Up river, down river, over the harbour, over the beach and out to sea.
