Established almost 60 years ago, Crumplehorn Cottages are eight individual Cornish Cottages nestling in the heart of the beautiful coastal resorts of Polperro and Looe.

Great Facilities & Onsite Parking
Sleeping 2 to 6 guests our quality self-catering holiday cottages will make your holiday in Cornwall one to remember. Situated either streamside in Polperro, or by Hannafore Beach at Looe, each cottage is individual with lots of charm – Beamed ceilings, Cornish stone fireplaces, sash windows, furnished sun trap patios, and tranquil gardens – All with onsite private parking.
Our two Looe cottages Sea Scape and Sea Breeze are just across from the beach and have spectacular sea views of Looe Island and Looe Bay. You can sit and watch the sun rise each morning; the colours are amazing. And our three Crumplehorn Cottages dating back to 1739, and were once owned by Polperro’s famous Smuggler, Zephaniah Job!
Pets – We accept one small to medium sized well behaved dog allowed per cottage – by prior arrangement at all properties except little Crumplehorn Cottage No1, which is our pet free cottage, for guests with allergies.

Each of our cottages are inspected and approved annually by Quality in Cornwall – Your reassurance of good quality, clean, comfortable, safe accommodation. We also pride ourselves in achieving SECTA’s Green Acorn Award, as a sustainable business in tourism.
We are open ALL YEAR and have lots of regular guests who return year after year, some coming back over 50 years on from their first holiday with us!
The Perfect Locations for Couples & Families
Both resorts have boat trips leaving the quay daily, hire a fishing boat and try your hand at catching some fresh mackerel for your evening meal, go seal spotting off Looe Island on a Glass Bottom Boat, or just pack a picnic basket and head out along the beautiful Cornish coastal paths to a secret beach.
Polperro has a sandy beach for children to enjoy with a cave to explore, a large shallow rock pool to paddle in called Maids Pool by the locals, and Chapel Pool – an inviting rock pool big enough to swim in – which appears as the tide recedes each day. The resort of Looe has a large sandy main beach – where you can hire kayaks, motorboats, and SUP’s by the hour, and Hannafore Beach – with fantastic rock pools to explore. Or if its total relaxation you’re after simply sit and watch time pass by as the boats gently bob up and down in the picturesque harbours. With an abundance of restaurants, Tea Rooms, Inns and cafes in both resorts, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Polperro and Looe are well placed for exploring other parts of Cornwall too. Eden and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are only 30 minutes away, while Tintagel Castle (the legendary birthplace of King Arthur), Fowey, Padstow, The National Marine Aquarium at Plymouth, Bodmin Moor, and The Shipwreck and Heritage Centre are also within easy reach.

A newly refurbished detached stream-side property with a distinct seaside feel, divided into two beautiful holiday apartments.
This ground floor apartment, Shellseekers 1, and the first floor apartment Sheelseekers 2, both enjoy a sunny position by the river, right in the centre of the village with the advantage of onsite private car parking, directly outside.
