We make every single chunk of fudge in our Polperro shop by hand and pour it out onto a marble slab right before your eyes. You can’t get fresher than that!
Our recipe is over 150 years old and still used to this day.
Roly’s Fudge was founded in 1987 by Peter and Lindsey Riley. Lindsey found her grandma’s old recipe book which had her very own fudge recipe inside. They managed to find an old traditional copper pan in an antiques shop and soon after they opened their first Roly’s Fudge Pantry in the West Country.
The rest as they say is history and Roly’s Fudge in Polperro still uses these traditional methods to make the same delicious, crumbly fudge today. This is the second Roly’s Fudge Pantry in the area owned and run by Shelley, Matt and family. The other is in East Looe.
Award winning Salted Maple & Pecan Fudge….
It was Polperro shop that invented the hugely popular salted maple & pecan fudge that has won champion confectionery at the Taste of The West awards in 2017 & 2019. Pop in and have a taste!
We have no secret kitchens and absolutely no factory fudge. Come and see us make it, its fun! We make vegan fudge which is accredited by the Vegan Society and delicious fudge sauce to drizzle on ice cream.
We individually wrap all of our gift bags and boxes by hand to take home and have a choice of fudge flavours on our counter to treat yourselves.
