Every single chunk of our delicious, crumbly fudge is handmade in our huge copper pans right in front of your eyes! You can’t get any fresher then that!

We dedicate ourselves to make the best quality fudge using as many local ingredients as we possibly can.

We have no secret kitchens and absolutely no factory fudge. We also make vegan fudge which is accredited by the Vegan Society and award winning delicious fudge sauce to drizzle on your ice cream.

150 Years In The Making

Our recipe is over 150 years old and still used to this day. Roly’s Fudge was founded in 1987 by Peter and Lindsey Riley. Lindsey found her grandma’s old recipe book which had her very own fudge recipe inside. They managed to find an old traditional copper pan in an antiques shop and soon after they opened their first Roly’s Fudge Pantry in the West Country.

The rest as they say is history and owners Matt and Sara still use these traditional methods to make the same delicious, crumbly fudge today in their Polperro shop.

Award winning Salted Maple & Pecan Fudge…. It was Polperro shop that invented the hugely popular salted maple & pecan fudge that has won champion confectionery at the Taste of The West awards in 2017 & 2019. Pop in and have a taste! Our shop favourites are our award winning, Vanilla Clotted Cream, Cornish sea salt, Cherry Bakewell, Coffee and Cream, Honeycomb and so many more delicious flavours to choose from.

We take a lot of care to individually wrap all of our gift bags and boxes by hand to take home and we have a great choice of fudge flavours on our counter for a lovely treat.
