Join us for a truly authentic Italian evening, on Friday 19th April – when we will be serving delicious Italian cuisine prepared by our head chef Mario and we will have a selection of fine Italian wines on offer.

Mario will be serving traditional Italian dishes, made from the finest quality ingredients. Join us for a very special evening as we transport you to Italy!

Starters

  • Antipasto misto: A selection of cured meats, grilled vegetables and a mix of olives. (GF)
  • Fritto misto: White bait, calamari rings, king prawns and courgette sticks dusted in fine Italian flour & deep fried. (GF on request)
  • Funghi alla Griglia: Portobello mushrooms sliced and marinated with garlic, lemon, parsleyand olive oil, perfectly grilled & served on homemade bread drizzled with balsamic glaze.(V) (GF on request)

Mains

  • Duo of fresh pastas: Homemade mushroom ravioli with butter truffle oil and freshly grated parmesan cheese. Seafood Scialletielli: Strips of pasta tossed in sea food sauce with fresh mussels, king prawns and squid with cherry tomatoes, white wine and parsley.
  • Fazzoletti di pasta fresca: Handkerchief style fresh pasta filled with ricotta cheese, Buffalomozzarella and a splash of tomato sauce, oven baked in a fresh bechamel sauce with a slice of homemade garlic bread. (V)
  • Bistecchine alla pizzaiola: Thinly sliced sirloin steak, pan cooked with garlic, oregano, white wine in a light tomato sauce served with rosemary, new potatoes and pan cooked courgettes.(GF)
  • Spigola al rosmarino: Fillet of seabass, oven baked on a bed of hand cut potatoes, freshrosemary, sea salt lemon juice and olive oil served with Italian style spicy greens. (GF)

Desserts

  • Traditional tiramisu: Savoiardi biscuits soaked with espresso topped with layers of mascarpone and brandy cream, finished off with a dusting of dark chocolate.
  • Affogato: Vanilla ice cream with a shot of espresso coffee and a splash of baileys liquor.
  • Torta caprese: A traditional southern Italy dessert with almonds, almond flour and dark chocolate served warm with clotted cream. (GF)
