Two Displays – One Great Night

On December 31st, the skies light up over Looe’s famous Banjo Pier with two fantastic firework displays.

The family-orientated display takes place at 6pm with the main event at Midnight.

People travel far & wide and head to Looe to see the displays. The 2024 event planning is already underway.

Fundraising

The firework displays cost around £6,000 to stage and they can only take place by fundraising support, gained in three ways:

1. Fundraising – events & activities take place around Looe; coordinated by a small group of volunteers throughout the year

2. Donations – support from local organisations and business

3. Go Fund Me – we have an ongoing page accepting donations and we’d love your support. Please click HERE

Dress Up – Join In

Looe’s NYE celebrations gained nationwide recognition as one of the top 10 places to spend the end of the year.

During the Covid period, the celebrations were severely impacted. We are determined to regain Looe’s rightful place amongst the best places in the UK to celebrate New Year’s Eve.

With a fantastic fancy dress party atmosphere throughout Town & a host of pubs & clubs which welcome revellers – the firework displays are the pinnacle of the night’s celebrations with revellers gathering on the sea front to welcome in the new year.
