The full tour tickets operates as a hop-on hop-off service, with your ticket valid for the day of purchase. What’s more – you can enjoy an audio tour along the route too to learn more about Looe, its history and key points of interest.

The Land Train is ideal for those who find the walk from the main car park to the seafront a little arduous, in addition to exploring other parts of Looe you may not have discovered before.

*£1 for the section between West Looe Quay – Hannafore/Hannafore – West Looe Quay; Guildhall – Seafront/Seafront-Guildhall (all other sections of the route are charge at £2 pp, £5 pp for the Full Tour. All tickets are valid for the day of purchase only).

With our main departure point being the Millpool Carpark (outside of the Library & Community Hub)… these are our stops on the circuit:

Stop 1 – The Millpool

You’ll find our stop right outside of Looe Library & Community Hub, location of Looe’s Tourist Information Centre too. This is Looe’s main car parking area with plenty of spaces, coach parking, EV charging and disabled/blue badge parking.

The Millpool area is located on the beautiful West Looe River. Before, or after, you hop onboard, you can enjoy the serenity of Kilminorth Woods where there is a circular walk, following the banks of the river. At the Millpool you will find toilet facilities, children’s play park and also the new Banking Hub.

Stop 2 – Fore Street, East Looe

New for 2024 – We leave the Millpool and pass over the river from West to East Looe. The first stop of the tour is in the very heart of East Looe where we set down opposite Looe’s famous Guildhall & Clock Tower, the location of the police station in BBC’s Beyond Paradise drama.

You are in walking distance of the shops, restaurants, cafes & bars – as well as the harbour (you can alight here if you’d like to walk onto the seafront & beach area, but like to do a little shopping or pick up refreshments on route, it is about a 5 mins walk).

Stop 3 – East Looe Sea Front

Our second stop is right outside of Looe’s RNLI boat house and just a few steps from both the quayside, for all the boat trips, as well as our wonderful sandy beach and famous Banjo Pier.

You will also find a range of cafes and shops as well as kayak, paddleboard and other beach & water sports hire. From this stop, you are a short walk to discover the Old Guildhall Museum & Gaol.

Stop 4 – West Looe Quay

After returning via Fore Street and over Looe Bridge, we turn onto West Looe Quay and stop right outside of the Quayside Centre (used for markets, live music & events). Along West Looe Quay you will discover the ancient church of St. Nicolas, Looe’s oldest pub (the Jolly Sailor) and a range of cafes, restaurants and shops too.

Walking further along the quayside, pasted the Heritage Centre to “Pennyland” to discover Looe’s famous statue in memory of Nelson the seal.

From here, you can visit the Looe Harbour Heritage Centre, catch the passenger ferry across to East Looe, or walk out to Hannafore (10 mins).

Stop 5 – Hannafore

Our final stop is the beautiful coastal community of Hannafore. This is a stunning stretch of coastline where you can walk (on the level) and enjoy vistas over Looe Island and the rocky shores, & sandy stretches, of Hannafore Beach.

Ideal for rock pooling, enjoying a lazy lunch – there are two cafes, a hotel bar & restaurant as well as a Bowling Green & Putting plus tennis courts. For those looking for a longer walk, you can continue on the SW Coast Path towards Talland Bay and Polperro.
