Join us for a 45 min trips around Looe (St. Georges) Island, or our coastal trips to Polperro, aboard our custom built boats, Nautilus, Octopussy, Underworld & Boatzer – to view life both on & under the sea.
Looe Bay & Island
Our trips operate from the pontoon in East Looe (opposite the Lookout Cafe) and take you into Looe Bay and around Looe (St. Georges) Island and its underwater marine reserve.
You will pass smuggler’s caves, habitats for seal and seabirds… and, if you are lucky, see dolphins too. Set into the hull of our boats are glass viewing panels that allow to see life below the waves where fish, jelly fish and other marine life which live around our shores.
Polperro
When the tides & weather conditions allow, we also offer a wonderful 45 min coastal trip (each way) to our neighbouring village of Polperro. Passing the Island, Port Nadler & Talland Bay, we arrive in Polperro for approximately two hours ashore, exploring the village (perhaps time for a quick lunch or a harbourside cream tea!)
Ideal for All Ages
Our trips are ideal for all ages with easy-access onto our boat. The trips are a great taster for those looking for a short time afloat. You will have spectacular views back towards Looe, Hannafore, the beach & pier, for those perfect holiday photos – not to mention the unique environment of the Island, run by the Cornish Wildlife Trust.
Each of our boats can accommodate 12 people, so if you have a large family or group, please contact us to arrange a bespoke trip & price.
2023 Prices
Prices for 2023 are just £10 pp (payable on the boat in cash) for our 45 min trips which leave regularly from the quayside, according to tide times & weather conditions. Prices for our trips to Polperro are £25 for adults (£15 for under 10’s and Free for under 2’s).
