There’s nothing like getting onboard a local boat to explore around Island and up our beautiful river.
Damaris, skippered by Charlie, offers trips from both West & East Looe quays, from Easter until November – and you’ll also spot Damaris providing the ferry from West to East Looe too.
Damaris can accommodate up to 12 passengers, so ideal if you have a group of friends or family for a private charter too.
Trips Around The Bay & Island
A 45 min trip around Looe (St. Georges) Island is a great way to see Looe from a different angle with stunning views along the coast and around our famous Island, run by the Cornish Wildlife Trust.
You might spot grey seals & dolphins, as well as a host of sea birds too which have their home (and nest) on the island.
Trips Up The Looe River
When the tide is in, we offer 45 min trips up the West Looe River, a stunning branch of the main Looe River, where ancient woodlands meet the waters edge.
You might be lucky and catch a glimpse of a kingfisher, Looe’s own swans & cygnets, as well as a host of other birds & wildlife in their own habitat.
