Join us in the beautiful Cornish port of Looe for a 6 day fishing festival 10th to 15th September, aboard a wide selection of boats with experienced local skippers.
The Festival kicks off with the Welcome and Reception meeting at the Hannafore Point Hotel, West Looe at 20:00 hours on Saturday 9th September.
Our History
The Looe Sea Fishing Festival was established back in 1960. Initially an international festival which used to command up to 12 boats leaving the port of Looe. In recent years, the festival has been making a comeback, with more boats booked year after year. Book to become a part of this historic festival.
One Great Fishing Competition
The competition comprises individual and team events, and the fishing days are allocated to these and to particular species targeted on the day. Scoring is principally on a points basis depending on species, and trophies are awarded at a presentation evening on the last day of the event. A detailed programme for each day of the week will be published nearer the time.
Entry Costs
The cost (subject to sufficient numbers) is £425 for the 6 days’ fishing, payable as an initial deposit of £100 and a balance of £325 (payable by 1st August 2023). To round off the week a Presentation Evening will take place at the Hannafore Point Hotel on the evening of Friday 15th, with a 3-course meal at a cost of £30.
Limited Day Guest Places
We have 4 guest places per day from Sunday 10th September to Thursday 14th September if anyone fancies a day or more deep sea fishing on board Patricia Rose or Fortuna with us.
