Talk & Meet with Looe Marine Conservation Group

February 20 @ 6:15 pm - 8:15 pm

Atlantic bluefin tuna returned to waters off the UK and Ireland almost a decade ago, and since 2018 scientists have been studying this iconic species. When did these apex predators return to waters off the UK? Which areas do they occur in? Where do they go when they leave and, importantly, do they come back? After six years of research, we are a little closer to some answers, but many questions remain. Join Tom Horton from Exeter University to find out some of the answers to these questions!

The talk will be followed by our in-person monthly meeting to which all are welcome. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. This is a FREE event but donations to Looe Marine Conservation Group are welcome. Please check our website (www.looemarineconservation.org) and Facebook page (www.facebook.com/LooeMCG) closer to the time of the event for the most up to date information.
