NYE Fireworks – Looe
31st December 2023 @ 6:00 pm
Welcome to the best party in Town, make it a Looe Year’s Eve in 2023
Two Fantastic Firework Displays
6pm – ideal for families
Midnight – the main event to see out 23 and in with 2024
Both displays are fired from the iconic Banjo Pier with the best viewing from Hannafore, Pennyland & West Looe Quay, The Seafront. You can download the Visitors Map to use as a guide if you are not familiar with Looe (please note, the Pennyland is the area between Looe Harbour Heritage Centre & Nelson The Seal on the map).
If you are visiting Looe for the evening, particularly for the family display at 6pm. Arrive at least 1 hour earlier and park at the Millpool Carpark. Please avoid driving to, & parking at, the Hannafore area – unless you are a local resident at Hannafore, or staying in local accommodation in that part of Looe.
(Please note, we’ve been advised that there are no Liskeard-Looe trains operating on NYE; local busses will operate a Sunday timetable, you can view the local 73 service timetable HERE).
Dress Up & Join In
Pubs & Clubs open on the night are listed on the poster (the one change is The Globe who are closed) there will also be a number of local eateries open too – the majority will close early evening.
Looe is famous for our revellers to enjoy NYE in fancy dress – so make sure you plan your costumes in advance and join in the fun around Town.

Please Help Support Us
The two displays are completely free of charge – but we need your support to help ensure they can take places again 2024 and beyond. Organised by volunteers. who are also fundraising throughout the year so that the events can go ahead, please consider making a donation via their Go Fund Me Page.
There will also be collection buckets on the night in which you can donate (these will be held day marshals as you leave the seafront area in East Looe) – so please help us ensure this annual event can keep going for the enjoyment of all by giving what you can – it will be greatly appreciated.
A huge thank you to those sponsors listed on the poster who have each donated £250 or over, in addition to many members of the public who have given so generously already… and to Looe Town Council who paid the deposit for the 2023 display.
Thanks also to the support from Looe Harbour Commissioners and East Looe Town Trust, without whom the event could not take place.
Finally, a HUGE thank you to the small team of volunteers, led by Tracey & Sal, who have worked tirelessly throughout 2023 to ensure this event could take place.
