Lammana is our new specialty coffee shop in the heart of Looe – born from a deep love for this town and a desire to bring something fresh and thoughtful to the community. Growing up, Looe was Cornwall to me. With both sets of grandparents nearby in Liskeard, I have vivid memories of sun-soaked days, catching crabs off the quay, and sharing fish and chips with them by the sea. After years working in the specialty coffee industry in London and Cornwall, my wife and I decided to return to the place that always felt like home.
Lammana is named after the chapel ruins just around the corner in Hannafore – a quiet spot we walked to often with our dog, Hazel. It became a place of calm for us, and we wanted our coffee shop to offer the same sense of peace and welcome to others.
Speciality Coffee
We’re all about bringing the specialty coffee experience to Looe in an approachable and down-to-earth way. Our menu features light-roasted, specialty-grade coffees sourced from exceptional producers around the world – each cup brewed with care, attention, and a love for the craft. Alongside coffee, we serve loose-leaf teas from Redruth-based FromTrees, small-batch kombucha, Pentire mocktails, Dalston sodas, and juices. There’s also a rotating lineup of baked goods to enjoy in a relaxed, inviting space.
Sustainability and locality matter to us – our milk is Cornish, our oat milk is British, our tea is local, and our coffee is roasted just up the coast in Newquay. At its heart, Lammana is a place to pause, connect, and enjoy something truly good – whether you’re a local, a visitor, or just in need of a quiet moment.

You’ll find us between Fore Street & the Harbour, on the small street opposite the Black Swan (near the Guildhall) – where we renovated the old Harbour Master’s office.
