Historical Town-Centre Setting
Located in the very heart of East Looe, The Golden Guinea occupies a Grade II listed building, dating back to 1642. Operating as a restaurant for the past 30 years, we’ve become a firm favourite for both visitors & locals alike.
You can’t miss us, our double-fronted restaurant & bar is located on the left hand side of Fore Street, just 100 metres past the Guildhall.
Family Dining – Friendly Service
At street level, you’ll find our restaurant which serves home-cooked family classics throughout the day. From all-day breakfasts, burgers & pastas, through to our famous roasts, there’s something for all tastes with GF and vegan options available too – all served by our friendly & welcoming team.
Opening in 2020, our fabulous secret garden bar is THE place to enjoy cocktails overlooking the roof-tops of East Looe and our famous Guildhall Clock Tower.
From porn star martinis to Prosecco – whatever your favourite, we’ll mix it for you! If you are a lover of Gin, well, you’ve certainly come to the right places with a great selection including Looe’s very own, distilled just 200 metres from our front door.
During the summer months, we hold regular live-music and DJ sets; just the perfect way to spend a chilled-out afternoon.
We are open throughout the year from Noon until 8pm (serving food throughput our opening hours). During the winter months, our hours may be adjusted so please just call in advance if you’d like to dine with us.
