Welcome to ‘Botel’ our bottle shop, bar & off licence, brought to you by Adam & Alison at Choklet
Botel is located on the quayside in East Looe, in one of Town’s oldest buildings, once used for the sardine industry. After a winter & spring refurbishment, our doors opened at Easter & our team members Poppy & Chris on hand each day to welcome you to our world of great wines, craft ales and our hand-picked selection of spirits, many from small-batch artisans in the South West.
We offer Looe’s only tap wall – with a Pils and cider always ready, chilled & flowing – we’ve everything in the fizz range from Prosecco to fine Champagnes….. we’ve even a great coffee machine & freshly roasted coffee if you’d prefer a caffeine kick.

Botel offers the best of both worlds – sit inside and surround yourself with our fabulous range of wines… or relax on our covered terrace where you can watch the goings on along the quayside & boats on the harbour too.
Any Wine – Just £10 To Drink In
Our shelves & fridges are always full stocked – and much of what we sell is unique to us in Looe.
In partnership with our suppliers, we’ve carefully curated each wine with over 150 bottles to choose from. You can enjoy them at home, or pull up a chair, pop the cork & sip-away for just £10 above the takeaway price.

Over the summer months, we will be introducing bar snacks and nibbles too – just perfect to pair with your chosen wine and watch the world go by on the harbour outside.
