Late Availability Page
We’ve launched a new section on the website for properties to upload late availability that is occurring within 14 days from the date of posting – it takes 1 min to complete the online form (using password ‘advert’) and once received will be loaded on the site. There’s a direct link from the home page to the Late Availability page and the adverts appear in order of arrival date and auto-delete once the arrival date has passed.
Visitor’s Map
The all new Visitor’s Map has been delivered! This A3 map (which folds to pocket size) has Looe on one side & Polperro on the other & aims to help people navigate & highlight the main places of interest for those visiting Looe & Polperro.
10,000 copies have been printed & you can also view & download digital copies.
Sara at The Guildhall Market in East Looe, and Lesa at Coffee Cake Create in Polperro have kindly agreed to be distribution points for the new maps – I hope that you can pop in and collect copies for your own business. There is also an A6 postcard for you to collect & display with a QR code so that your guests can download the map onto their phone/tablet.
QR Code – For Guest Directories
Do you produce a guest directory for your guests? Why not add a QR code that takes them directly to the home page of the Welcome to Looe & Polperro website as a great reference point for guests looking for information on eating out, shopping, what’s on and things to do.

Featured On Logo
We now have a range of logos you can add onto your own website to show that you are ‘Featured On’ the Welcome to Looe & Polperro website, like this example for Alexander Cottage.
Via this download ink WtLP Attrib Logos 2023 you will find a three folders which contact a variety of sizes, styles & colour ways to choose from. You can either (a) just had the logo on your website (b) add a link from the logo to the Welcome to Looe & Polperro home page or (c) add a link directly to your own advert on the website. New Year’s Eve Fireworks
Welcome to Looe & Polperro are giving their support to the volunteers who have taken on the organisation for, and fundraising of, the NYE Firework displays in Looe.
As many of you will know, there are two displays, one for families early evening plus the midnight displays. The displays themselves costs around £6,000 to stage – Looe Town Council have donated the £2,000 deposit and I am working with the volunteers to try and help raise £8,000 to fully fund the 2023 displays PLUS ensure there is money in the bank to pay the deposit for 2024 and put the event on a more secure financial footing.
PLEASE – if you feel able to make a donation – click on THIS LINK to the Go Fund Me page – it is a hugely important event for the Town, locals & visitors alike and whatever amount you can give, it is truly appreciated.
(Welcome to Looe & Polperro have pledged £250 of support and we will be offering the same amount for the Polperro bonfire night fireworks too).
